I had to file a police report because my ex boyfriend verbally went crazy on me on Saturday night and it was highly offensive and inappropriate. I fear for my own safety and for those around me and thus felt it was best to involve the authorities. I’ve never been so verbally abused in my life. I filed the report because, god forbid, if he comes at me physically I’ll have a leg to stand on legally. My lawyer has already written a cease and desist letter, and I’m going through the motions to file a restraining order against him as well. I hope nothing else happens because this whole process has been horribly upsetting. I hope he understands its not okay to talk to ANYONE like that, no matter how angry or upset you are.
I also hope every girl out there knows they do NOT deserve to be spoken to in any disrespectful or hurtful manner, and if they fear for their safety please contact an adult or the authorities immediately.
